I have worked all over the world on lighting and video designs for concert tours, theatrical shows, events, and architectural and fine art installations. With a background and education in entertainment lighting design, I bring a strong production and logistical approach to custom lighting, video, art and fabrication projects.

I have experience in the fine art, and architecture industries and have worked as a freelance lighting design consultant for projects including the Highline, and Highline Hybrid Tower in New York City, the Frank Gehry-designed Foundation Louis Vuitton and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi museums, and several artworks and installations by James Turrell. Additional professional credits are available at this link.

I was an artist in residence for the National Park Service in Arizona during the summer of 2009, working as a photographer in Petrified Forest National Park.

My workspace for lighting fabrication is located in Colorado, USA. I use a CNC router for design prototypes and limited production.

When I am in the studio, prototypes and production pieces are available for sale at this link.

My CNC router is a Fine Line Automation kit and the working area is about 48" square. I work primarily in plywood. I started learning to use CNC starting in the winter of 2012, and built my system completely from resources found on the web. I have just barely started to explore what this workflow can create.

Work on this project goes on in conjunction with my full-time lighting and video design practice.
